EOS Turns 3!

November 2011

On November 13, 2008, Emerging Opportunities for Sustainability (EOS) International officially became incorporated as an organization. Since then, we have experienced exponential growth in Nicaragua and helped over 10,000 people generate income, drink clean water, live more safely in their homes, and lift themselves from poverty. We could not have done this without the support of our many fans and friends – you! Please join us as we spend 13 days commemorating the impact we’ve made together in Nicaragua, and consider making a birthday gift of $13 on our “Donate” page. We need your support to keep going  and growing in Nicaragua!

NEW YouTube Video

Have you been wondering where EOS works, who EOS helps and what the technologies implemented by EOS look like?  Now is your chance to get answers to those questions and more.  We are excited to debut our first promotional video.

The new video shows the technologies implemented by EOS, explains why EOS is needed, and best of all allows the viewer to experience a portion of Nicaragua and the people helped by EOS.

EOS 2010 Annual Report Released

Our 2010 Annual Report has been released. You can view the report here.

I am happy to say that our team is off to a productive start in 2011. Wes and I both traveled to Nicaragua last month to pursue new technology opportunities and connect with our Nicaragua staff. This team is doing great work day in and day out, providing livfe improving technologies to rural families across Nicaragua. As a result our local operations are thriving and our team is growing. In the US, our Board of Directors and our Development Team have been energized by the addition of new members. Look for more updates coming soon from the EOS Team.

We would like to share a summary of our activities and progress from last year. Attached is our annual report for 2010 highlighting progress achieved as well as information about finances, new faces, and new products that EOS has begun to promote. This was a record year for EOS in terms of people reached, products installed, and funds raised. Most importantly, we were able to establish a sustainable presence in Nicaragua with the hiring of Alvaro Rodriguez, our Country Director.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to improve livelihoods with appropriate technology.
