EOS International is proud to have been selected to participate in the prestigious Latin American Accelerator program through Agora Partnerships. The Agora Accelerator is an intensive four-month program designed to provide high-potential, early-stage organizations solving social and environmental challenges to grow their businesses, their impact, and their leadership skills through customized one-on-one consulting and access to mentors, investors, and a global community of peers. Agora Partnerships strives to accelerate the shift to a more sustainable, equitable, and abundant world that supports entrepreneurs intentionally working to create social impact.

Last month EOS CEO, Wes Meier, and Nicaragua Country Director, Alvaro Rodriguez, traveled to Mexico City for Agora’s kick off event. The conference, which hosted thirty organizations selected to participate in the program, was the first step towards helping EOS work to create growth and scalability. EOS was paired with a consultant (based in Nicaragua) who will help the organization in improving its marketing, business model, and operational efficiencies. EOS and its consultant will be meeting weekly over the next few months to continue to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.

Due to our unique and sustainable approach and growth, EOS International was the only nonprofit accepted into the program this year. The other companies selected to participate in this social impact accelerator are for-profits working to create social and environmental change.
