We are thrilled to introduce our newest member of EOS’ staff in Nicaragua. This summer Karla Castro joined the team as the new International Leadership Program Coordinator. This new position has been created to help facilitate the increased participation in EOS’ Leadership Program, which include students, field experts, interns, and fellows.

Karla will be tasked with managing the International Leadership Program, facilitating visiting university programs, preparing homestays, assisting with projects and field research, and supporting donor impact experience trips.

Not only does Karla bring much needed skills to EOS’ initiatives, but she is also the first staff member in Nicaragua able to speak fluent English and Spanish. Her language skills will help bridge cultural and lingual divides, while improving communication between EOS staff and visitors.

We are very excited to have Karla on our team and look forward to all she can offer EOS and our partners!
