IRWA is now a part of EOS International
International Rural Water Association (IRWA) is excited to announce that we have joined forces with EOS International to become a Central American influencer in providing safe drinking water solutions throughout Central America and to expand the legacy that Fred Stottlemyer has created in Honduras. EOS empowers rural families in Central America with access to safe drinking water and opportunities to generate income through simple technology solutions and education.
“IRWA is very optimistic about the growth potential created by merging with EOS. The additional experience, expertise, and funding opportunities will allow us to advance our mission to serve more communities and improve the lives of Hondurans living in poverty furthering the mission and dream started by ADEC founder Fred Stottlemyer.”
– Nick Wobbrock, IRWA Board President
Merging these two organizations is an example of how partnerships can lead to more efficient operations and greater impact, building on more than 20 years of combined experiences in water implementation expertise throughout Central America.
EOS is thrilled to support our new Honduran branch, which operates under the name ADEC (Agua y Desarrollo Comunitario – Water and Community Development), which has been working in Honduras for over ten years, focusing their water quality products, services, and education to communities located in the western region of the country.
“EOS is excited by the opportunities created through this merger. This strategic move will optimize our operations, improve efficiency, reduce administrative expenses, and allow donors to reach more Central American communities with access to life changing simple technology solutions. We are thrilled to further our collective mission by expanding our operations into both Nicaragua and Honduras.”
– Wes Meier, EOS Co-Founder & CEO
